Time To Give Kudos to Golden Ace
At the 2024 Cheltenham Festival just 20 months ago, the Mares Hurdle was won in electric style by Golden Ace. So easily was the mare travelling jumping the second last,  Lorcan Williams, clearly knowing he had plenty of horse and not wanting to hit the front too soon. confidently took a pull on her as they galloped away from it.

Grey Dawning Dominates in Betfair Chase
Grey Dawning reversed last year's result with a commanding victory over Royale Pagaille in Saturday's Betfair Chase at Haydock, delivering Dan Skelton a second win in the race in four years following Protektorat's 2022 triumph. The 16-1 currently available for him to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup looks like excellent value.

Still Improving Wodhooh Takes The Ascot Hurdle
A few minutes before the race was run, Gordon Elliott almost laughed at Matt Chapman when Matt suggested in the Ascot paddock that Wodhooh may potentially be a Champion Hurdle or Stayers Hurdle contender. Gordon now seems to have changed his tune about that, after his plucky mare extended her remarkable record over hurdles to eight wins from nine starts with a determined performance in Saturday's Ladbrokes Ascot Hurdle
